The playbook

The exact instructions your agent follows. Connect SkillRune and ask it to run this skill, or have it read the playbook and work through the steps itself.

Social Content Engine

Find what already works in a niche, then plan content that earns the same attention. Target: a brand, a competitor, or a topic.

Steps

  1. Read the brand's own feed — social_instagram and social_tiktok with the handle. Note the posting cadence, the formats (carousel, reel, talking head) and which posts beat their own average. Absolute follower counts do not matter here; what matters is which posts outperform the account's typical numbers.

  2. Read the niche, not just the brand — re-run both with the top one or two #hashtags for the topic. This is where you see formats the brand has not tried yet.

  3. Check long-form demand — social_youtube with the core topic. High view counts on small channels mean the topic pulls on its own merit rather than on an existing audience, which is the best signal for a new entrant.

  4. Confirm the search angle — web_search for the same topic to catch discussion happening off-platform (Reddit threads, newsletters, forums).

Report

  • What wins — the formats and hooks that consistently outperform, with the numbers next to each. Name the specific post, do not generalise.
  • Gaps — angles with clear demand and thin supply: hashtags with engagement but few good posts, YouTube topics with views on small channels.
  • Calendar — 10 concrete post ideas, each tied to an observed winner and labelled with its format and platform.
  • Caveat — say how many posts you actually read. Ten posts is a signal, not a census.
