Privacy Policy

SkillRune (“we”, “us”) provides a unified API that lets AI agents call tools and run skills. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have. We keep it short and plain.

Information we collect

• Account details. When you sign up with email or Google, we store your email address and name. If you use Google Sign-In, we receive your basic Google profile (name, email, profile picture) — nothing else from your Google account.
• Usage data. The API calls your account makes, the tools and skills used, and the amounts charged to your balance.
• Technical data. A session cookie to keep you signed in, plus standard request logs (IP address, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To run your account, authenticate you, and meter usage.
• To route your requests to the underlying tool providers.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, and to operate and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Third parties we work with

To deliver the service we share the minimum necessary data with: infrastructure and database hosting (Cloudflare), Google (only if you choose Google Sign-In), and the tool providers your agent calls (for example Exa, DataForSEO, Firecrawl) — which receive only the input needed to run the requested tool.

Data retention

We keep account and usage data for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Cookies

We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you by email.
